Airplanes

Does anyone else like to work on planes?

Yes, those who know me will say I tend to work everywhere -- but this is different.

There is something about the white noise and closed quarters of an airplane that creates focus for me.   Some might say I could read a book instead -- and I could, and I do -- but you get the point.

Some of my best editing, analyzing, studying and strategizing happens just as the plane doors are closing.  I once read the entire Family and Medical Leave regulations -- probably 100 pages -- on a flight with highlighter and pen in hand.

I can't go so far as to say I'll wait to read the next set of regulations on my next flight, but when I'm flying I do plan what projects might work best.
