It would seem that bears now need to take care of their chapped lips.  

A little over a week ago, wildlife officials in Colorado reported that a bear broke into a car and destroyed the interior -- all for a tube of lip gloss.

The officials confirmed this fact saying, "There was no food/trash left inside, but there was lip gloss..."

The department said the incident should serve as a reminder that "bears know how to open car doors."

I would say that bears realized all their growling leads to lips that are dry and sore.
