Up and down the east coast and could go on for days.

Having lived through Sandy in 2012, warnings and watches get my attention in a way they didn’t before. It’s not that I was ever cavalier about being in the path of bad weather, but it’s different now. And frankly, compared to so many others, I was one of the lucky ones in 2012.

We have family and friends up and down the east coast. I’m sure you do too.

I have already reached out to everyone I know to offer them a spare bedroom in my house, but no one has taken me up on that offer. Everyone is hunkering down, getting out the hurricane shutters and guarding their homes.

All I can really say is that I am wishing everyone in this storm’s path an easy time.
